Default UW Farming Trapper

Well..Yeah my shot at a PURE Trapper (literally)
This is like farmining with a party otherwise, the character probably would be dead really quick. Here goes.

R/Mo
Attributes: (W/O Runes and Item Bonus)
12 WS
11 Exp
7 Beast

Skills:
Dust Trap
Flame Trap
Barb Trap
Serpents Quickness
Energizing Wind
Quickening Zephyr
Charm Animal (I like Pets )
Rebirth

do u think this will work? I need some advice on this

uh w/o runes and items you can't get a setup of 12, 12, 7... best you could do would be 12, 12, 3 and yea pet is useless... bring like spike trap so you utilize an elite either that or oath shot

Spiked Trap is better if you are going with that group, QZ + serpent's should make you recharge kinda quick, so no need for Oath Shot.

I think you should get a sup rune + mask to get 16 WS, for maximum damage with your traps, also, I wouldn't recommend bringing Spirits along, cause if EW gets destroyed or something happens, I dunno, then QZ is REALLY annoying for the Monks in your party... I would replace the 2 spirits with Whirling Defense and Spike Trap (It interrupts, it's great )

Also pets are really bad if you're trapping, if you want to lure something in the traps the pet will STAY at the enemy and try to fight it.

Point is not to have monks. Pure 3/4 man trapper team.

16 WS (12 + 3 + 1)
13 EX (12 +1)

Spike Trap [E]
Dust Trap
Barbed Trap
Flame Trap
Serpent's Quickness
Whirling defense
Troll Unguent/Quickening Zephyr/Energizing Wind/Edge of Extinction
Some form of Ressurection

That's my normal build for UW trapper. Two people will carry a spirit. In the case of bringing along Energizing Wind i would set my WS survival down to 15 and sub the points into BM.

Edge of Extinction is rarely used as it can be more harmful than helpful.

Is it known if Winnoing effects the physical damage from Spiked and Barbed?

Oath Shot is a rather usless elite to bring, since it's an attack.

Oath Shot is good if you're trying to solo trap the UW. Yes Winnowing effects the physical dmg in Spiked and Barbed trap. That phys dmg is no different than any other phys dmg.
